Tuukka Eloranta Appointed New CEO of Medikro

Kuopio, Finland - 9/1/2015 -

Medikro Oy today announced the appointment of Mr. Tuukka Eloranta as the new Chief Executive Officer. Medikro's founder, Mr. Mikko Eloranta, will continue to serve as full-time Chairman of the Board with an increased focus on new technology development for the company.

Tuukka is the second generation of the Eloranta family to lead Medikro. He most recently served as VP Products & Sales and has previously served in a variety of roles within the company. Before joining Medikro he was a Sales and Project Manager at Finnish software company Innofactor and was responsible for account and project management in large-scale software projects. Tuukka has a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University. He is also a Board Member in various NGOs and public organizations in Kuopio.

Mr. Mikko Eloranta, Chairman of the Board of Medikro, commented, "Tuukka has been involved in our business for over 15 years.
